14 Oct Driving Life’s Stress
We’re excited to share Karen’s latest contribution to Hypnotherapy Today’s Autumn Edition, where she explores a brilliant analogy between driving a car and managing the stress in our everyday lives.
Karen’s got this lovely way of explaining how we can think about stress like we’re behind the wheel – sometimes we’ve got our foot flat on the accelerator, racing through life, and sometimes we desperately need to find that brake pedal to slow things down a bit. It’s such a relatable way to look at something we all struggle with from time to time.
What we particularly love about this piece is how Karen talks about the fact that stress isn’t always the enemy – sometimes we actually need a bit of it to get things moving. But it’s about knowing when enough is enough and having the tools to pull back when we need to.
She also touches on something really important – that what works for managing stress is completely different for each of us. What helps one person unwind might do absolutely nothing for another, and that’s perfectly normal.
If you’ve ever felt like you’re stuck in the fast lane of life and could do with some practical ways to take back control, this is definitely worth a read.
